"THERE ARE NUMEROUS COLLECTIVE NOUNS FOR ROOKS. IN SOME PARTS PEOPLE SAY A STORYTELLING OF ROOKS... THE ROOK IS A GREAT LOVER OF STORIES. HE HAS BEEN HARVESTING THEM FOR AS LONG AS THERE HAVE BEEN STORIES TO HARVEST, WHICH MEANS FOR AS LONG AS THERE HAVE BEEN GODS AND MEN AND ROOKS. AND HE HAS A GOOD LONG MEMORY FOR THEM..." QUOTATION FROM bELLMAN AND bLACK BY DIANE SETTERFIELD, NOVEL.
Available pieces
Below are examples of crows that have flown out into the world of Trees.
If you would like to order a crow, I would be happy to make one for you.
Also, if you would like to contact one of my Galleries, they often have a little flock of crows gathering about their premises, and would be happy to introduce you to them.
Please Inquire.
I often keep one or two available at my studio for purchase, they can be picked up, or can be shipped with Canada Post (in a huge box!)
The crows are made from terracotta~earthenware clay, with another sculpture medium for more durable legs and toes!
Visit the Painting page for Corvidae paintings
Please inquire at the Contact link below if you are interested in one.
We can discuss stance, and attitude.
If you would like one with a berry in its beak, or with her head thrown upwards, calling out her joy, or another stance, I'd be happy to discuss.
